Inspection and Support of Projects at the Planning Phase
Individual fire protection begins at the planning phase because, in order to ensure optimum safety, builders and building owners must plan suitable concepts for fire protection well in advance. In many cases, this includes a logical combination of various systems, such as a traditional sprinkler system that can be combined with a fire detection and fire alarm system and possibly a smoke and heat-extraction unit.
To optimally coordinate the effect of the individual safety components, the specialists of VdS Inspection Services are on hand to provide advice and support. This means that VdS experts check during initial and follow-up inspections not only whether the individual elements function perfectly. In so-called combination inspections, the interaction of all the fire protection components is checked. In this way, any errors can be eliminated at the design and planning phase to ensure that, if at all possible, there are no subsequent costs.
